Wedge Club
What club to use near green (p corner of the corner or 60 degrees)?
Which club should I use in green? P, a corner or a 60 degree corner? Currently I am in a corner P. But I'm struggling to control the ball. My address is correct, but the speed of the ball is bad. Im guess a difference of 60 degrees, I would be able to put more spin on the ball nearer the hole? Also, what area are you recommend?
This single answer to this question. It depends on where the ball is on the green in the hole is on the green. If the ball is farther from the green and the pin is near on your side, you need more loft club, as the corner of 60 degrees. If you are close enough to the green but the pin is farther from home, use less club loft. Even considering the use of iron clubs like 8 because you want to get the ball rolling in the green, as soon as possible. You do not want halfway chip to reach the green. As the ball changes position on the green (near / far) and change the position of the pin on the green (closer / farther), you loft to choose more or less on your chipping club. Going to be different in all holes (unless all the pegs are in the center of each green). Basically, unless you want your ball to roll after landing, the club must use more than rose to shoot. Conversely, if you want the ball to roll more after landing, with a club less raised as a PW, 9i, 8i, etc.
