What is the loft of a pitching wedge and sandwedge?

A slice of sand are commonly 56 degrees of loft, sometimes 58, but 56 is rather standard. PW penthouse will likely be between 48 and 52 degrees, depending on how "modern" lofts. If you have a VP of age, it might be 52 degrees, otherwise bet on 48 or more. Why the difference? Recently, the manufacturers in their search for 'oldest clubs, strengthening the lofts. Given that PW used to be 52 (or maybe 50, the function), as they tend to be 48. And the same for all other clubs in a set - the low lofts stronger. The net effect is to leave a big gap between the PW and SW. Since the top, maybe 8 degrees, which means that the distances between the two that require you to hit a PW partial, something that many find difficult to do consistently. To do this, manufacturers have closed the gap between the PW and SW in producing what is called "Gap" Cast - have an A or G in them (meaning the corner approach, ie, G Gap Wedge).
