A trip to Moscow and Red Square

Rarely is there a time when a particular destination demands my attention and made me sit and take notes. A subtle blend of the meeting on this, while showing a way that captures the emotion and excitement of what awaits you in the room and every corner.

My last trip took me to Moscow, and although I, unconsciously, to revive the negative feelings that the opinion of everyone in the U.S. inside the country in the 70's and 80's (I am enough old to remember, but young enough to make it significantly), I was delighted to have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the culture - both the people and the country as a whole.

Moscow, the capital and largest city of the Russian Federation, is a city where one comes face to face with all what is great and frustrating in Russia. Generous people of the city are also aware that the extreme stress of a city through the UN will ensure that social change. It is even more true in Moscow and other parts of the country of 6.592 million miles square can feel the shock of the Soviet past for the future of capitalism.

My first encounter with Russia was the meter - so the subway. Often, as public transport, because it is a great way to actually look at society as a whole, more to clean. If there was an architectural symbol of Russia, and many, must be the Cathedral of St. Basil. The domes, cupolas, arches, towers and steeples inspire everyone who sees it. Returning to the east side of Red Square is where everything can be done most if not all purchases. More like a palace then a mall GUM (pronounced goom) is the largest in Russia. I am not a customer, but entering this complex, which is beaten with elegantly decorated interior. A source is located in the center, while three parallel galleries invite you to explore some designer shops - and the glass ceiling is also an attention grabber.

The State Historical Museum was next. Built in the 19th century, with its red brick walls and decorated eaves, the State Historical Museum is an excellent addition to Moscow's Red Square. All sorts of treasures are waiting for the potential browser. You are led back through of Russian history, with artifacts dating back to the Neanderthal. You can also visit one years 5000 boat - and of course there are plenty of frost and family real glamorous 19th century aristocrats and Ruski. All this experience here takes about 1-2 hours, but if you know Russian, from Russian Revolution through it is sure worth it - and if you're hungry, a Red Square Restaurant is here where you can dine like a Tsar!
