Black powder ball milling. Lead weights inside, writing in a can of sparks?

I'm black powder, an ancient form of powder guns for a science project. It must be very finely ground together, then make a "ball mill. I have a big pile of pesos round lead, because I know that leadership is not has spark when struck. I wonder if it will result against a well-preserved? I plan to use a tin container for my ball mill.

I see no possibility a spark but if the plant dust very quickly, you can create heat, or perhaps a static charge? ISTR something about the wet milling powder with water to a paste very fine, then let it dry completely (small amounts) and dismantle the paste VERY carefully. This should be safer than playing with tri-iodide nitrogen (I hope to remember that right)
