Anti Slice Golf Drivers - good or bad?

Author: Ben Brooks

Anti slice golf drivers have become increasingly popular in recent years, and it may seem strange to ask whether they are actually one thing good or not. You might be surprised to learn that not everyone thinks they are.

One reason for the popularity of these clubs is that the disk is a shot that has an enormous impact on the overall score of a player. Of course, in a sense, we can say that about every type of shot, but if you hit a straight drive that is on the way, just a pull or a slice to give problems from the road.

The stretch is the most often, players tend to have with the reader. The extra lift to get more power into the shot just means that the clubface to hit the ball not in place.

The simple advice may be working on the swing, and of course, is a very logical response and also the traditional way of doing things. However, new advances in club design and technology, people began to wonder why not just use a club that corrects the problem for you?

A combat pilot in the form of support is a particular way so that what was once the best way with a regular driver with the club hits the ball straighter. It also tends to put more backspin ball more, and counteract the side effect of backspin on the edge.

Great! So why do not some people like them?

Well, some people think these clubs are hiding the problem rather than correct. They argue that once the use of another club, his band will manifest again. It's a fair point, but with slicers many is the extra length of the unit that makes the problem clear, if ever so mean to other clubs anyway. In some cases, can be only one problem with the unit.

A second reason that some people do not like is that they consider that cheating. It makes no sense to me! The benefits entire history of the game have tried different types of clubs to reduce their score. The clubs are governed by the rule, and you can be sure that all the popular clubs meet legislation. Respect the rules, there is no way one can say that a redesign of the club is cheating. Unless you begin with the clubs for every player level, this argument will not last.

So while some people do not find the cause of love, most find their enjoyment around a lot with the help of an anti club court. This is especially true for players who have worked and worked to try to correct a slice, but I never succeeded. Therefore, we conclude that yes, anti slice golf drivers can help your game!

Polara Ultimate Straight XS Golf Balls DOES NOT CONFORM TO USGA REGULATIONS Featuring a soft ionomer cover material that generates higher spin for better stopping power on the green, the 3-piece Ultimate Straight XS is Polaras high-performance golf ball. One layer beneath the cover is its boundary layer material called DuPont HPF that produces lower driver spin and longer distance. At its core is a soft, resilient polybutadiene core for better feel. The shallow dimples lower lift and establish preferred spin axis, the small dimples provide slice and hook correction, and the deep dimples lower drag and enhance weight distribution. To correct hooks and slices, simply point the side stamp arrow at your target. (When the arrow doesnt point at your target, itll react like a regular ball.) To boost distance with your driver, tee the ball up high and use a driver with a loft of 10.5 degrees or more. To bust your irons, point the arrow toward your target. Polara says youll gain up to 20 yards. For extra bite on the greens, align the arrow so that its perpendicular to your target.

Discover the secret the USGA has known for years--that self-correcting golf balls can actually make you a better player. Thanks to a unique dimple design, Polara's Self-Correcting Technology golf balls reduce hooks and slices by up to 75 percent. That means you play from the fairway, not the woods or the next fairway over. The Polara 3-piece Ultimate Straight XS golf ball reduces hooks and slices by up to 75 percent and will dramatically improve your golf game with maximum spin off control for stopping power on the green. Benefits: Corrects hooks and slices by up to 75 percent Easy to use; simply point the arrow at your target and swing Designed for recreational golfers; illegal for tournament play Self-correcting technology with maximum spinoff control for stopping power on the green Each box contains 12 self-correcting golf balls Specifications: Each Box Contains: 12 Golf Balls Construction: 3-piece Ball Size: 1.682 inches Ball Target Weight: 45.5 grams Core Material: Polybutadiene Core Diameter: 1.480 inches Boundary Layer Material: DuPont HPF Boundary Layer Thickness: 0.050 inches Cover Material: Ionomer Cover Material Thickness: 0.051 inches Cover Material Hardness: 60 Shore D Number of Dimples: 386 Ball Flight Characteristics: Self-Correcting Technology The Polara Story Two scientists, Daniel Nepela and Fred Holmstrom developed the original Polara golf ball. The Polara's dimple pattern was unique, having six rows of normal dimples on its equator, but very shallow dimples elsewhere. The asymmetrical dimple pattern was a breakthrough in aerodynamic design that helped the ball self-adjust its spin-axis during the flight and thus enabled the ball to correct slices and hooks in flight. The original Polara patent was filed Oct 2, 1972 and it issued June 25, 1974. The Polara golf ball was first produced in 1975 by PGA/Victor, with sales starting in 1977. Because the Polara actually corrected hooks and slices it posted strong sales in its first year. However, after extensive testing, the USGA concluded that the Polara golf ball did correct hooks and slices and thus refused to approve the ball for tournament play, ruling that it wouldreduce the skill required to play golf. In 1978, the manufacturers sued the USGA on antitrust grounds. As litigation wound its ways through the courts the USGA changed the 300 year old Rules of Golf by inserting the Symmetry Rule in 1981, requiring that a ball must essentially perform the same regardless of where on the ball's surface it is struck or how it is placed on the tee. The new USGA rule banned Polara golf balls from USGA sanctioned tournament play. Then in 1985 the USGA agreed to a settlement of $1.4M and the Polara ball was removed from the market, becoming a part of golf history. In 2005 Pounce Sports purchased the rights to the original Polara golf ball and reintroduced it on a small scale. In 2009 Aero-X Golf, Inc. acquired the Polara technology. After extensive research and development, Aero-X Golf determined exactly how and why the original Polara ball corrected hooks and slices. With this understanding Aero-X Golf, Inc was able to improve upon the original Polara design. In August 2010 Aero-X Golf, Inc introduced two new and improved Polara golf balls with Self-Correcting Technology: The Polara Ultimate Straight 2-piece ball and the Polara Ultimate Straight XS 3-piece ball. Polara Golf uses the best available technology to create demonstrably better products that are not limited by anything other than the laws of physics. All of the Polara golf balls are designed for recreational golfers who want to take advantage of these technology improvements and enjoy the game more.

Power Straight Anti-Slice Golf Club Coating Power Straight Anti-Slice Golf Club Coating

Hit the ball longer and straighter off the first tee - Guaranteed! Power Straight will absolutely reduce side spin on the ball to fix your slice. It's simple science. Reduce friction and you reduce side spin (the reason you slice or hook). Additionally, by reducing side spin, Power Straight will help you hit drives 20% longer. Power Straight works in seconds - no drills, lessons, or training aids required. Just spray on your club face and play. Each application lasts a full round. About our anti-slice golf technology: For decades, high-stakes golf gamblers have greased their clubs. Before the advances in nanotechnology, they used petroleum jelly or lip balm to reduce friction on their club face to cut down side spin. This meant a straight drive every time! The only problem: you need to apply it each time you hit the ball. Since most golf gamblers don't want competitors to know their secret, they needed a coating that would have the same effect as grease, last the full round and not leave a mess. To meet this demand, our team of chemists, golf pros, and high-stakes golf gamblers developed Power Straight. Power Straight is a patented friction reducing nano-polymer coating scientifically- engineered to reduce side spin off the golf club face to cure your slice or hook.
