Driver Extra

Do I need to be added as an additional driver on my parents insurance?

I just got my driver's license and am in training conductors. My parents tell me to let me drive your car (for my 50 hours of practice), I have to be added as an additional driver on your insurance. And what is or not? For the record, I live in California. I'm not sure that all changes, but I thought I should talk to if there are other laws on the subject here.

Yes, you have to be added as a driver. If you are in an accident, the insurance does not cover repairs unless you are. In some states it is illegal to allow any person to drive a vehicle unless they are covered. The bad news for parents is to increase their insurance rates. Congratulations on your new privilege to learn to drive!

A great entry-level set, the Prosimmon Golf X9 Tall club set adds an extra inch to standard club lengths, helping it accommodate taller golfers. The set starts with a titanium matrix driver with an oversized 460cc club head and a 10.5-degree fairway 3-wood, both with graphite shafts. The clubs are fitted with a preconfigured weight to lower the center of gravity, which, in turn, increases the moment of inertia. As a result, you'll hit the ball higher and farther with every swing. The set's 3- and 4-hybrids, meanwhile, are designed to replace the difficult-to-play long irons in a traditional golf set. The most versatile clubs in your bag, the hybrids are fitted with high modulus graphite shafts. The woods and hybrids come with matching head covers. The X9 set also includes a full range of short irons, from 5-iron to pitching wedge, each with a high-modulus graphite shaft and a cavity-back design that increases forgiveness and enlarges the sweet spot. The mallet-style putter takes over once you reach the green. Complete with an easy align system, the putter's precision balance offers great control and feel. The set concludes with a versatile cart bag with a six-way padded top, four-way full-length dividers, and six external zippered pockets, including a soft-lined pocket for valuables. The cart bag also sports a single padded shoulder strap with a loop to restrain the straps while on the cart, along with a Velcro tab glove holder and towel ring.
