Clubs Ignite
What type of golf clubs with a beginner needs for a round of golf?
I just finished a golf lesson did last week by ESPN in which he was handed a set of Nike Ignite clubs to start, namely, the irons 4-9, PW, 3-hybrid and a putter. I added a motor at low prices (as I decided to upgrade to a Nike Summer) and Wilson 58 ยบ sand wedge too. I played the last two months with this series and I think I need all the clubs fairway, especially for the 5 pars. I have mixed between some saying I need a 3 and a 5 wood while others I have to say 5, 7 and 9 wood. Moreover, I am confused whether I should get hybrids (like the # 3 I) to take the place of the jungle. Does anyone have suggestions on what to get a complete game? BTW, I love corners and I would add either a LW or a GW to my plateau. Thank you!
The ideal game for the average golfer would start with Game Improvement irons. You still need forgiveness but also want a more in control. If you tend to hit your irons, so you might be willing to consider a regular 4 iron, otherwise, continue with your 4-hybrid. For your distance clubs add a little less loft fairway woods and hybrids to maximize distance. May be willing to waive its 5 hybrid and replace it with a 3 hybrid. Your driver is still oversized with about 10-12 degrees of loft to maximize distance and accuracy. Selections from the axis may be the most important. You want a tree that matches your swing speed and needs of ball flight. Perhaps the best way to attract the drive to get moving a little to the right to the left. Your wedges can be reconfigured. A gap wedge or a lob wedge can be many additions. If three wedges are your choice, you may want to distribute the lofts of their VP for LW (46, 52, 58 degrees). You may want wedges with less to recover so you can get them out of strict lies. For an intermediary of a putter, you may already have settled on what works for you but if you're willing to try something new, a new MOI mallets Maxed would be a good option. Set the settings should be: Woods (1, 3, 5) Hybrids (3, 4) Irons (Game Improvement) (5-PW, SW, LW), Putter
