Beryllium Copper
How is it dangerous to work with beryllium copper alloys C17200?
I am a student at the clock, I have my wheel balance, Beryllium copper is known as one of the best alloys for this purpose, how it would be dangerous to work with her on a trip? Do I wear a mask dust? What skin contact? How should it be treated properly? Thanks for any help.
Problems toxicity of beryllium copper mainly due to the long-term exposure to dust. Skin contact is not a problem unless you are allergic. Working visit shall not issue without protective gear beyond goggles. I wear a dust mask if I was grinding and polishing it in any quantity, but the size of metal clock will be no risk at all. Beryllium alloy is not soluble, so the reduction is only a cup.
