Classic Ping Anser Putter - Is there a way to clean?
I have a Ping Anser putter classic late 60's and early 70 that I inherited my father when he died about 10 years. In fact, I used this stick for about 18 years, may, however, to find something that beats. Over the years he has no longer turn a darker color than I remember when I was a kid, when I had to borrow from my father all the time. Is there any way to polish and restore the appearance original?
I would not call him Fudge. The coloring is seen discussing patina. The natural process of aging metal. Many collectors prefer the natural color. You might clean up value. Some of Ping putters that time is worth more than others. Made in Scottsdale is more than Phoenix. Sometimes a lot more. So do not suggest that polishing. If you have to ...
